The visit come close in the heels of External Affairs Minister S M Krishna visiting Kabul and New Delhi is exploring the possibility of a visit by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to Afghanistan early this year.
Karzai is coming to New Delhi to attend the 'Delhi Sustainable Development Summit' (DSDS), being organised by The Energy and Resource Institute (TERI), to be inaugurated by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.
President of the Dominican Republic Leonel Fernandez Reyna, and President of Seychelles James Alix Michel will also attend the meet.
