Pakistan Foreign Minister Khursheed Mehmood Kasuri on Sunday sent his best wishes to External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee for an early recovery from injuries sustained in a road accident.
Kasuri's message was conveyed by the Pakistani Deputy High Commissioner to New Delhi, Afrasiab, to the External Affairs Ministry with the request that it be passed on to Mukherjee.
A bouquet was also sent to Mukherjee on behalf of Kasuri, Afrasiab said.
Mukherjee suffered injuries to his head and other parts of the body when his car was hit by a truck while he was returning to Kolkata from Murshidabad in West Bengal last night.
He was on Sunday brought to the national capital and admitted to the army's Research and Referral Hospital, where doctors said his condition was stable.
