Legislators decry non cooperation

Cutting across party lines, Delhi legislators complained against a 'non-cooperative attitude' of babus in an open interaction organised by Delhi CM Sheila Dikshit.

The legislators - from the ruling Congress, Bhartiya Janata Party and Bahujan Samaj Party - from East Delhi and North East Delhi parliamentary constituencies deliberated on lack of development work in their respective constituencies and poor response from the officers concerned to their demands in marathon meetings organised separately.

Lack of development and delay in regularising unauthorised colonies and sanitation issues with the MCD, sewer and water problem with Delhi Jal Board and poor condition of roads were some of the problems that all legislators discussed with the chief minister.
