The incident took place on February 10, when he went past the security check at Terminal-3, manned by CISF personnel, and was allowed to board a Kolkata-bound Kingfisher flight.

It was only when he was inside the aircraft that it was found that another traveller was occupying his seat. On closer inspection, it was found he was carrying a month-old computerised check-in boarding pass.
A Kingfisher spokesperson said the airline was carrying out a detailed investigation into the matter. Meanwhile, the CISF which is responsible for airport security, said they were probing the matter.
