Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari

Almost a year after making calls to Zardari as Pranab Mukherjee, the man, who is a militant, has identified as Omar Saeed Sheikh.

He posed as Pranab and allegedly made calls to Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari to escalate tension between the two nations, which was already at its peak following Mumbai attacks.

Not only that, Omar Saeed Sheikh also made a call to Pranab as Pak President but that call was never connected to Pranab as the officials grew suspicious.

His misdemeanor didn't stop there. He even attempted to call up the US Secretary of State. What is most surprising here is the fact that he made all these calls through a Britain-registered SIM from inside a Karachi prison where is serving term for the murder of Wall Street Journal journalist, Daniel Pearl.
