Security personnel at a Dwarka Metro station went into a tizzy when a 23-year-old travel operator entered the station with an unlicenced pistol and two live cartridges on Tuesday.
The accused, Ravi Bharat, has been arrested. A resident of Ambala Cantt, Bharat runs his business from Dwarka.
He had put the firearms in his suitcase, which were detected during scanning, said BS Gurjar, additional deputy commissioner of police (railways). The security personnel opened the suitcase with a key that they took from Bharat. A country-made pistol and two cartridges of 8-mm bore were found, Gurjar added.
