Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) chief Maneka Gandhi on Saturday visited SPCA Noida hospital in Sector 95 and inspected its functioning. She directed the staff to work more efficiently.
Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) chief Maneka Gandhi on Saturday visited SPCA Noida hospital in Sector 95 and inspected its functioning. She directed the staff to work more efficiently.
SPCA Noida administrator, Jaswant Singh Chauhan, said Gandhi inspected the premises and discussed problems faced by the staff in performing their duties.

Chauhan said there were three issues raised at the discussion: Animal Birth Control Funding, infrastructure, and emergency funds. Regarding infrastructure, Chauhan said the building was in a bad shape and required maintenance.
At present there are 148 dogs, 82 large animals such as cows, bulls, and donkeys at the SPCA hospital.
