A group of men barged into a metro train at Gurgaon’s Guru Dronacharya Metro Station and allegedly started molesting women passengers on Thursday evening.

At the Hauz Khas metro station in south Delhi the miscreants were finally detained, police said.

"The men were forced to de-board the Metro train by Haryana Police officers at the next station as they allegedly starting molesting some women passengers. They were made to get off at Arjangarh station at 7 pm," said a senior DMRC official.

The official said once forced to vacate the train, the men started protesting and stalled the train for 15 minutes before getting on another train.
"They continued to tease women co-passengers on this train as well,” said the official.

“They were finally detained when the train reached Haus Khas metro station at 8 pm," the official added.

Police said a joint team of DMRC and CISF officials, in addition to a team from the local police station, had to work in tandem to intercept and detain the men.
