A month after three minors — two girls and a boy — were sexually assaulted by three men in northeast Delhi's Bhajanpura area, a 10-year-old boy, who was missing from his house since October 21, was found killed in the nearby Usmanpur locality on Wednesday.

Police had arrested two persons in connection with the Bhajanpura incident while one is evading arrest. Police suspect that he might be involved in the latest case.

It is suspected that the boy was sodomised as his body was recovered in the nude. "The boy's parents had filed a missing persons' complaint on October 21 and a case of kidnapping was registered. The boy was mentally challenged. Today, a passerby informed us that a body is lying at an isolated place in Usmanpur area," a senior police officer said.

The section for sodomy might be added to the FIR after post mortem. Police said that two men who were arrested earlier had tried to abduct two more minors from the same locality but the victims managed to escape.

"Mohammed Mia had kidnapped two children from Bhajanpura. He, along with his associate Irfan, took them to Yamuna Khadar forest in Usmanpur and after raping the girl and sodomising the boy, they had strangled them and dumped their bodies there," a senior police officer said.

Another accused Shadam was arrested along with Mia but Irfan is untraceable. "We have got some clues and he will be arrested soon," the officer added.
