Mewati gang busted, three arrested
The Delhi Police on Sunday busted a Mewati gang allegedly involved in theft of motor vehicles in Delhi and NCR. Three members of the gang who allegedly committed over 25 cases of vehicle theft in recent times were arrested.

Mohammad Shokin alias Langda, Imran and Arif, all residents of Hathia village in Uttar Pradesh, were arrested by a team following information about their movement in south Delhi's Lado Sarai.
Fifteen stolen motorcycles, one loaded country made pistol, a button-activated knife and four vehicle lock-breaking instrument were recovered from them, said police.
Chhaya Sharma, DCP (south), said the gang was busted following investigation into cases of vehicle theft reported in the areas under the Saket police station. They are involved in motorcycle theft from the past 10 years, she added.
