Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi remained calm throughout Sunday morning even after realising that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was headed to a handsome election win, a party leader said.
Speaking to IANS after talking to Modi over telephone, the BJP leader who did not want to be identified by name said: "Modi remains calm and relaxed. He did not sound excited at all."
"Modi said he was expecting to win 125 seats and that the BJP tally was likely to touch that mark," the leader added. The Gujarat assembly has 182 members.
