The National Development Council (NDC) - a body of all chief ministers and key central ministers - headed by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh will meet in Delhi on December 27.

The key agenda for the meeting is approval for the 12th five year plan (2012-17), which aims to achieve the economic growth target of 8.2 %.

"The immediate challenge is to reverse the observed deceleration in growth by reviving investment as quickly as possible," the plan document states. IT also speaks about the need to make the policy inclusive.
