Team Anna member Arvind Kejriwal has conceded that providing a new political alternative is “very difficult”.
In an open letter to India Against Corruption (IAC) volunteers, some of whom Kejriwal said “are feeling hurt” at the decision to turn political, he has said they may disagree but should not doubt the integrity of their colleagues.
“Announcing a political alternative is quite easy. But to provide a clean and meaningful alternative is very difficult. We are faced with innumerable challenges and issues. I am highlighting a few of them and I hope to elicit your views on them,” Kejriwal wrote.
In a long letter, he has provided details about how Anna Hazare was concerned about the health of his colleagues who were on an indefinite fast and had consulted all of them before calling it off on August 3.
