BJP president Nitin Gadkari today greeted factory workers, craftsmen, technicians and the entire working class in the organised as well as unorganised sector across the country on the occasion of Vishwakarma Puja.

In his message, Mr Gadkari exhorted the BJP activists to champion the cause of the working class as a mission and undertake schemes for their welfare.

He described the working class as an architect of modern India and assured them that the BJP would protect and safeguard all their legitimate interests and 'expose' the 'anti-workers policies' of the Congress-led UPA government at the Centre.

He also called upon the workers to re-dedicate themselves in the service of the humanity by increasing productivity and inculcating a sense of discipline, dedication, hard work and commitment to their respective professions.

Vishwakarma is the presiding deity of all craftsmen and architects.

Hindus widely regard Vishwakarma as the god of architecture and engineering, and September 16 or 17 every year is celebrated as Vishwakarma Puja.
