delhi Updated: Mar 14, 2012 11:35 IST

Keeping in mind the perspective of today's youth, Fever 104 FM is all set to launch an epic radio play about the Father of the Nation.

The play portrays a modern-day Gandhi, who aims to make the youth understand that there is an alternate way of thinking for all adverse situations they may come across.

With artists such as Farooq Sheikh, Rajit Kapoor, Heeba Shah and Sachin Khedekar, Fever Gandhi promises to be one of the most ambitious and out of the box radio projects of all time. Farooq plays the role of Bharat, depicting today's India. Rajit plays Gandhi, Sachin plays Ambedkar and Heeba plays Kasturba Gandhi.

Commenting on the innovation Mr Harshad Jain, Business Head, Radio & Entertainment, HT Media Ltd adds, "Gandhi needs no introduction. He is one of the greatest men this country can ever have. Through this initiative, we are paying a tribute to the Father of Our Nation and reiteratng the life of the man for the present day world. Packaged with great music and superior production quality, I'm sure it will be loved and much appreciated across age groups".
