Fresh law graduates will have to clear a new test starting this year to be eligible to practise in courts, the Bar Council of India (BCI) said today.
Fresh law graduates will have to clear a new test starting this year to be eligible to practise in courts, the Bar Council of India (BCI) said on Wednesday.
The test will be conducted twice every year by the BCI, the apex statutory body to regulate the legal education and profession in the country, said its chairman and Solicitor General Gopal Subramanium.

The announcement was made in the presence of Law Minister M Veerappa Moily on the occasion of the launch of BCI's vision document and its new website.
