One man died due to swine flu in the capital, taking the toll to 24 including eight from outside the city so far this year.
"One man succumbed to H1N1 virus on Tuesday. He was admitted to the Lok Nayak Jai Prakash hospital. He was a resident of Delhi. With this death, the total toll of the city alone is 16 as of now," Dr Debashish Bhattacharya, Delhi government's nodal officer for H1N1 cases, said on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, 34 swab samples, including 13 of children, tested positive for H1N1 virus, taking the total number of confirmed cases to 693.
