Their children were denied admission by the school due to the delimitation of Lok Sabha constituencies by the Election Commission as the areas-Minto Road and Mata Sundri Road were excluded from New Delhi constituency.

Seeking a direction to the Department of Education for appropriate action against Navyug Education Society situated on Tilak Lane, the parents contended the school's action was "unjust, arbitrary and against the fundamental right of the children".

The petition may come up for hearing later this week.
