Delhiites came out to enjoy the light rain and cloudy weather on Sunday.
While Monday is expected to see a partly cloudy sky, Tuesday could again bring winds, thunderstorm and rains.
The city on Sunday recorded a maximum temperature of 35.6 degrees Celsius, two degrees below normal, and a minimum of 23.4 degrees Celsius, bringing some relief from heat.
Many parts of the city saw short spells of rainfall throughout the day.
“Regular Western Disturbances (WD) have made this April a very pleasant one so far. The temperature at this time of the year is usually near the 40s, but this month it has hardly been able to cross 35 degrees two days consecutively. We are expecting another WD in the coming week,” the weatherman said.
The maximum and minimum humidity levels remained at 58%and 24%.
On Monday, the maximum and minimum temperatures will hover around 36 and 23 degrees Celsius respectively.
