Pathways World School, Sohna Road celebrated Graduation Day for Grade 12 students. The ceremony began with the lamplighting followed by a speech by the School Director, Dr. Sarvesh Naidu.

The school orchestra played soulful songs like ‘My heart will go on’ and Gallop from Rossini’s William Tell Overture.

The special awards were presented by the School Chairman, Pramod Jain as well as Dr. Naidu.

The programme also had a special performance by the choir and passing on the light of wisdom and fortune to the students.

ASN Sr. Sec. School, Mayur Vihar-I held the inauguration ceremony of the Tennis and Basket Ball complex by Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit in the presence of Sandeep Dikshit M.P., and Tarvinder Singh Marwah, Parliamentary Secretary to CM.

The flex courts are the first of their kind in India and have been approved by the International Tennis Federation. Special coaches will be conducting coaching classes before and after school hours and during the summer vacations also.

An inaugural tournament was held in which various schools from Delhi participated. Also present on the occasion were Chairman, K.L.Luthra, Manager, Rajiv Nayan Luthra, Principal Saroj Goel and Vice Principal, Sonia Luthra.

DLDAV Public School, Pitampura organized Indus Quality Foundation Inter School Poster making Competition on the topic ‘Peace to Environment’.

A panel of expert judges judged the entries.

Sachdeva Public School, Pitampura and DAV School, Ashok Vihar bagged the first prize in senior and junior categories respectively. Congratulating the prize winners, Principal, Anita Wadehra expressed her wish to organise more events of such nature in future.

Delhi Public School, Ghaziabad Vasundhara celebrated its 12th Founder’s Day. Chief Guest, A.K. Mehta, Joint Secy, MoUD, N.K. Bajaj, Chairman, DPSG Education Society, V.P. Kaura, Dr. RBL Goswami and Sanjay Srivastava graced the occasion.

The event included an award ceremony which was interspersed with a melodious invocation, a dance performance showcasing performing arts in curriculum, a presentation on ‘Spirituality’ and a dance drama highlighting the fact that Spirituality is not just yoga and meditation but living a positive life.
