Vipin is allegedly involved in cases of cheating, forgery, attempt to murder and wrongful confinement. He has jumped bail and has managed to avoid facing trial in most cases.

According to the police, Vipin started his career as a real estate agent in Defence Colony. In 1998, he met Ruby, a resident of Patiala, who now lives in the US. Vipin then began working an immigration agent.
