The cultural club of Modern School, Vasant Vihar, organized its Annual cultural evening. In continuation of the legacy of cultural celebration, this year witnessed the dramatic and theatrical genius of Tom Alter. He performed an Urdu Solo play on Maulana Azad scripted and directed by Dr. M. Sayeed Alam. It is for the first time, a play on the first time that a play on the first Education Minister of India has been staged in a school. Tom Alter’s talent and presence on the stage left the audience spell bound. The evening became special due to the presence of Anuradha Singh, Chairperson, Goldy Malhotra, Principal and Kuldeep Nayyar, an eminent author and peace enthusiast.

Vivekanand School, Anand Vihar celebrated the winter carnival, ‘Chillz’. The event included performances by the school band and various other song and dance performances. Chief Guest, Usha Kumari, DDE, East Zone, Sh. Khurmi, EO and CPS Verma, DEO applauded the school’s effort for organizing such a fun-filled festivity for all. There were special games for the parents. Dr Vijay Kumar Malhotra, the leader of opposition party, Legislative Assembly was the Chief Guest at the time of Lucky Draw.

Under the inspirational leadership of Director and Founder Principal, Mamta V. Bhatnagar, Manav Sthali School, Rajinder Nagar organized the XXVI Annual Manav Sthali National Inter School Mathematics Talent Test. 57 schools of Delhi and around with total number of around 2000 students from classes VI-XII took part in the test. This talent test has served as a platform to the students to appear for exams at National and International Level.

Ahlcon International School, Mayur Vihar celebrated a musical extravaganza to welcome the advent of spring season over three days. It was inaugurated by Chairperson, Dr. Rohini Aluwalia, Principal, A. K. Pandey, Headmistress, Promela Mehta and Chief Guest, Padmashree Awardee, Ranjana Gauhar, an Odissi exponent. A mesmerizing show on Bal Krishna Leela by an eminent troupe, Shri Radha Ras Leela Sansthan from Vrindavan was organized. The event included various Inter-School competitions like solo devotional song, community group song, tabla jugalbandi, classical solo and folk dances. The rolling trophy was won by DLF Public School for the overall performance.
