A court on Saturday allowed Delhi Police to arrest three accused, who are already in judicial custody in connection with the murder case of call centre employee Jigisha Ghosh, in connection with the murder of TV Journalist Soumya Viswanathan.

Metropolitan court Magistrate Pritam Singh allowed the plea of Vasant Kunj Police seeking permission to arrest the accused persons Ravi Kapoor, Amit Kumar Shukla and Baljit Malik in the murder case of Viswanathan.

Viswanathan, a journalist working with Headlines Today news channel, was found shot dead in her car on September 30 last year while returning home after work in the wee hours.

The three accused had recently refused to undergo the Identification Parade (IP) in Tihar jail in connection with Ghosh’s murder case. The court sent them to judicial custody till April 1 in connection with the murder of the call centre employee, whose body was found in Faridabad on March 19 this year.

Meanwhile, the police is questioning the accused persons in connection with Viswanathan’s case in the court’s premises.
