The Lok Sabha today voted in favor of a resolution approving President’s Rule in Jharkhand.
The Lok Sabha on Wednesday voted in favor of a resolution approving President’s Rule in Jharkhand.
The President’s Rule was imposed on January 18, following Arjun Munda’s resignation from the CM office. The Munda government was reduced to a minority after JMM withdrew support from the BJP-led government in Ranchi.

Opposition members claimed the rule was imposed so that Congress could indirectly rule the state. But Shinde made it that the government was not in favour of continuing with President’s Rule in Jharkhand.
