Prez poll: Who's meeting whom

With race for Presidential polls heating up, all parties are up for hectic meetings in order to decide on thier presidential candidate keeping in mind all political equations. After hectic parleys through the day on Thursday, Friday was witness too many political meets on the presidential polls.

On Friday there are numerous meetings lined up to decide on the Presidential nominee.

*Samajwadi Party leaders Ram Gopal and Naresh Agarwal met party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav on Friday morning to discuss the Presidential candidate.

*11am: NDA met at senior leader LK Advani's residence.

*NDA discussed all Presidential candidates in their meet but decided to "wait and watch" the developments.

*Today's meeting was in the context of Presidential poll, to discuss developments so far. To exchange notes and the way forward," BJP leader LK Advani told reporters after the 90-minute meeting of NDA leaders.

*Samajwadi Party MP Kiranmoy Nanda met Mamata Banerjee at her residence.

*12 noon: Finance minister Pranab Mukherjee met PM Manmohan Singh.

*Prime Minister Manmohan Singh met senior Congress colleagues, including Pranab Mukherjee, discussed the presidential poll issue ahead of the UPA meeting.

*Besides Mukherjee, the meeting was attended by P Chidambaram, Salman Khurshid and Kapil Sibal.

*Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar had invited former president APJ Abdul Kalam for lunch on Friday.

*Left parties to meet in evening to decide stand on Presidential poll issue

*4pm: UPA meeting for deciding on its Presidential nominee. Ahead of UPA's meeting this evening, talks between Congress and SP gained momentum over the possibility of Mulayam Singh Yadav's support to the ruling dispensation candidate for the Presidential poll.
