Residents of a number of unauthorised colonies in South Delhi protested outside Delhi chief minister Sheila Dikshit’s house on Sunday morning, claiming that developmental work had not started in their colonies.

Residents of Chattarpur, Ghitorni, Ayanagar and nearby colonies protested outside Dikshit's residence at Motilal Nehru Marg alleging that while the Delhi government had started work in other unauthorised colonies, it was neglecting these areas.

Dikshit promised the residents that their colonies would be regularised soon.
