R4 lakh cash, gold robbed

Unidentified assail- ants struck a businessman's residence in east Delhi, held his wife and domestic help hostage at gunpoint and fled with R4 lakh in cash and 50 tolas of gold on Wednesday night, police said.
"The incident took place at Vinod Aggarwal's, an NDMC contractor, residence in Mandawali at 9.30pm when his wife Rama and two domestic helps were at home," said a senior Delhi Police officer from the investigation team.

Sub Inspector's car stolen in south delhi
A Delhi Police sub inspector's personal car was allegedly stolen from his south Delhi residence on Wednesday night. The theft took place at the Andrews Ganj Police Colony. “SI Sandeep Kumar had parked his Maruti 800 car outside his ground floor flat. When he woke up at 8.30am on Thursday, his car was missing,” said a senior Delhi Police officer.
