After eluding Delhi for about a week, rains finally caught up with the Capital but failed to bring much cheer. Oppressive heat and humidity meant the city remained hot and bothered on Monday too.
The maximum temperature was recorded at 37.2 degree Celsius, marginally down from Sunday’s 37.5 degree Celsius, while the minimum was at 29.8 degree Celsius, up from 28.5 degree Celsius. The city received 0.1mm of rain till 5.30pm.
The weatherman has predicted light rains in the Capital on Tuesday. The temperature is likely to hover between 28 and 36 degree Celsius. - HTC
