Even as the dry spell came to an end for Delhiites on Tuesday, the spell of rainfall that engulfed several parts of the city, failed to bring much respite.

“By 5.30pm on Friday, we had recorded an average rainfall of 12mm, even though other areas such as Aya Nagar received 55mm rainfall,” said a Met department official.

However, cases of waterlogging were reported from areas such as Chirag Delhi and Nehru Place.

While the city recorded a maximum temperature of 35.3 degrees - which was one degree above the normal mark – the minimum temperature stood at 28.7 degrees.
