Full-time politician and agriculturist.
Education: Graduate in History from Delhi's Deshbandhu College.
Political career: Began political innings in 1967 as student. Among current lot of 70 legislators, he holds the distinction of changing maximum number of parties. Started with Congress, moved to Janata Dal in 1991. Won Badarpur seat in 1993 on Janata Dal ticket. Re-joined Congress in 1998 and lost election. In 2003, he won Badarpur on NCP ticket.
Family: Wife Rajeshwari is a homemaker. Two sons have own business. Bidhuri is a health freak and practises yoga. Goes to his neighbourhood health club almost every morning since the last 10 years. "I do not miss my morning session," he said. "Even at this age, I attend 50 meetings in a day without feeling tired," he said. Bidhuri loves old melodies of Lata Mangeshkar and Mohammed Rafi.
Cars: While he is driven around in Mahindra Scorpio, his sons drive a Honda CRV and a Toyota Innova.
