According to chief electoral officer Satbir Silas Bedi, the poll observers suspected bogus voting at booth number 168 in Matiala assembly constituency.

In Burari, there were complaints of malfunctioning of EVMs in booth numbers 14 and 72 while in Malviya Nagar, polling officials had set up booths at Hauz Khas village instead of Hauz Khas enclave.

Re-polling in these nine polling booths will take place on December 2 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Bedi told reporters.

"There will be videographers, micro-observers and enough security presence to ensure free and fair elections," Bedia added.

The Commission advised employers of voters of these polling stations to give them holiday without deducting wages.
