Repolling will be held in two polling booths in South Delhi Lok Sabha constituency tomorrow as the Election Commission was "not satisfied" the way in which the electoral process was conducted there.
The repolling will be held in booths 64 and 64-A in Chattarpur Assembly segment of South Delhi Lok Sabha seat from 7 am to 5 pm tomorrow, Deputy Chief Electoral Officer J K Sharma told PTI.
The polling for all the seven Lok Sabha seats was held in the capital on May seven. A senior election official said the decision to conduct repolling was taken by the Commission after a meeting with observors and other officials.
The Commission felt that the conduct of the election in these booth was "not satisfactory" and that it suspected that some voters exercised their franchise in both the booths, the official said.
There are a total of 1,626 voters in these booths.
