Reshuffle in Delhi police, 11 officers shifted

Eleven senior officers were on Tuesday transferred in a reshuffle in the Delhi police.

N S Rana has been given the charge as special Commissioner of Police (welfare) while A S Khan has been made as Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Home Guards and Civil Defence, according to a press release.

Shalini Singh, who was looking after the charge of DCP southwest, has been transferred to the post of DCP northeast.

K Jagdishan, who was till now on a UN mission, has been given the charge as DCP southwest.

S K Jain and Rishipal have been transferred to the post of Additional DCP-I southeast and Additional DCP-II south respectively.

Shivesh Singh and S D Mishra would now look after the charges of additional DCP economic offence wing and Additional DCP Line respectively.

M N Tiwari has been given the charge of Additional DCP vigilance and RTI. Rajnish Gupta and Gita Rani Verma have been transferred to the post of Additional DCP licencing and security respectively.
