Amity International School, Saket, celebrated its Senior Annual Day with chief guest former vice chief of the Indian Army, PVSM, AVSM, ADC Lt. Gen. Arvinder Singh Lamba, (Retd). Founder president Ashok K Chauhan and chairperson Amita Chauhan's presence was also a source of motivation for all.

The event included an art exhibition, which showcased replicas of Tagore's paintings, created by the students. The cultural evening, was a befitting tribute to the Noble laureate Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore, on the occasion of his 150th birth anniversary. The choir and the orchestra presented Rabindra Sangeet, students presented documentary Devanjali - an insight into the life and works of the great polymath. The evening culminated with a dance drama 'Ganga', performed by over 400 students. Outstanding achievers were felicitated. Principal Rekha Ranade presented the annual report and the Lt Gen Lamba expressed his faith in the potential of each Amitian and congratulated the Amity fraternity on the grand success of the programme.

The 2011-12 batch of DPS International brought laurels to the school, as students of 'A' levels and IGCSE once again topped the CIE examinations. Yatharth Sharma was declared the global topper in maths. Students have received offers from top universities, including the University of Cambridge. Chairman DPS Society Ashok Chandra, chairman DPS International Ravi Vira Gupta joined by the parent body congratulated principal Amita Mishra, the staff and students for the number of distinctions at the 'A' levels and IGCSE. The outstanding performance of the school year after year has made it stand out as a provider of quality international education.

Ryan International School, sector 40, Gurgaon, organised 'Fastrax', a variety of sports activities to inculcate a sense of healthy competition and sportsmanship. The primary school had an array of innovative and flat races. Teams cheered their house representatives to the finishing line. A note of appreciation and encouragement was given by Peeya Sharma, school head.

Army Public School, Noida, celebrated its 16th Annual Day with grandeur extraordinaire, presided over by Lt Gen Dushyant Singh Chauhan, AVSM, DGDIA, DCIDS (INT) along with his wife, Sudha Chauhan.

The lamp lighting ceremony was followed by the unravelling of India's incredible journey of Self Discovery exhibited through a ballad, a medley of colours and dances put together by students.

Principal Anita Shah presented the annual report highlighting the student's achievements in academics and sports, followed by felicitating the young achievers and urging them to further strive for excellence.

Sagar House lifted the trophy for excellence in academics, sports and co-curricular activities amongst cheer and applause by students and parents.
