The city witnessed the warmest day of the season on Saturday as the temperatures remained well above the normal throughout the day. HT reports.

The maximum was recorded as 29.8 degree Celsius, eight degrees above normal, whereas the minimum was recorded as 11.1 degrees, three degrees above normal. The city had recorded a maximum of 28.4 degrees Celsius on Friday.

The weather is expected to remain similar on Sunday and Monday as well with the weatherman predicting the maximum and minimum temperature to be between 13 and 31 degrees respectively on both days.

“The mornings will be misty but the day would be clear and sunny and the weather will be similar over the next couple of days,” a Met official said.

But Delhiites may experience a thunderstorm with a few rain showers on Monday. “Some thundery activity can be expected on Monday evening along with a spell of light rain on Monday,” the official added.
