With nursery admissions forms to be out from Monday, schools across the city are doing it all to ensure their smooth sale.
While schools have issued guidelines for parents, principals are focussing on punctuality. Most schools will start selling forms from 8:30am and parents should reach half-an-hour before the scheduled time.
“We’ve made the rules clear. It’s important for parents to be punctual as they have to queue up outside the school. Often, they come after the gates are closed or past the last date of the sale of forms. We can’t issue forms after the scheduled time,” said Jyoti Bose, principal, Springdales School, Dhaula Kuan.
While most schools will conduct the process from January 2 to 16, all three Springdales Schools — Dhaula Kuan, Pusa Road and Kirti Nagar — will sell forms from January 2 to 9 and will be open to submission from January 9 to 16.
“Parents must carry the requisite documents when they come to fill forms. But the most important documents are proof of birth, school identity card of a sibling and a suitable identity card in case of alumni,” said Usha Ram, principal of Laxman Public School.
