The Delhi government has chalked out a plan to lay sewerage lines in unauthorised colonies in Delhi.

Congress leader Mukesh Sharma said Rs. 230 crore had been sanctioned for the Bindapur- Mohan Garden group of colonies under the Uttam Nagar Assembly segment.
Sharma said the plan for Uttam Nagar colonies had been approved at a DJB Board meeting chaired by chief minister Sheila Dikshit.
Sewerage lines would also be laid in nearby Sainik Vihar, Maharani Enclave and Rajan Vihar.
He said the sewerage lines would be connected with trunk sewerage lines at Dwarka and further with an interceptor.
He said the Bindapur and Mohan Garden group will also witness development as the two community centres would also have lifts and halls for functions.
