Shah Rukh Khan is doing what he is not ususally known for; offering an olive branch. In damage control mode, King Khan is trying to make peace with Sourav Ganguly once again, saying that the decision to drop 'dada' from the Kolkata Knight Riders team was taken with a very heavy heart.

In an attempt to stabilise the extremely volatile perfomance of his team, SRK wants to focus on keeping the team in the right frame of mind by letting go of issues, namely 'dada's'sacrifice.

Consequently, Khan has gone on record saying, "Dada is like a younger brother to me and I want to win more games together."

Talking to reporters, Khan reiterated that he always wanted Ganguly to be part of KKR. The buzz is that Ganguly may be roped in as a mentor for the team.
