After the initial teething troubles, the Terminal-3 (T3) of IGI airport achieved the landmark of screening one millionth baggage at its gigantic in-line baggage handling system since its commissioning.

"At 3.07 am on Tuesday, Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL) engineers in the baggage handling control room at T3 witnessed the one millionth baggage in the system," a DIAL official said.

The baggage was of Anupam Parihar, a passenger flying to Dubai in an Emirates flight EK 513, he said. "After this landmark, we are preparing ourselves to handle the traffic during the Commonwealth Games," the official added.
