A teenaged boy was arrested in the national capital for allegedly murdering a 55-year-old man, who had reportedly taken him to a secluded place for a homosexual act, police said on Tuesday.
The 17-year-old boy allegedly killed the man as he wanted to rob deceased Bal Ram (55), who had taken him to a secluded place near Dheerpur in North Delhi, on April 14, they said.
The body of Bal Ram was found with blood oozing out of his mouth but there was no sign of visible injury on his body.
On his personal search, an identity card was recovered.
During investigation, the teenager landed in the police net and a mobile and golden ring belonging to the victim were recovered.
Police claimed that initially, the accused tried to mislead them but later confessed to the crime.
"The deceased had brought the teenager for homosexual act but the accused became greedy and in order to rob the mobile and other articles of the deceased committed the murder," police said.
The teenager is a resident of Mukandpur village.
