Delhi Police personnel had a tough time on Tuesday to keep away the pro and anti-Telangana protesters away from each other outside the high-security North Block.
As protestors from both the factions gathered before the Home Ministry violating prohibitory orders, police personnel had not only to ensure that they do not slip into the building but also that the groups do not enter into a clash.
Immediately, a bus was called by the police to take the protesters into custody and a novel way was chosen to accommodate both the warring factions in the same vehicle.
The pro-Telangana protestors were pushed into the bus from the front door. Then, six Delhi Police personnel were asked to board from the rear followed by activists who favoured unified Andhra Pradesh.
The police personnel positioned themselves in the middle of the bus so that the two sides did not clash inside the vehicle.
