World Wrestling Entertainment champion 'The Great Khali' got a taste of the tough police in the national capital when they challaned his two vehicles parked in a no-parking zone.
The incident was reported from Patel Chowk area Tuesday afternoon. Khali, whose actual name is Dalip Singh Rana, was on a Metro ride when his vehicles were challaned for traffic violation.
The wrestler along with his family and friends had boarded a Metro train from Patel Chowk station at around 3:30 pm.
"He had come from New York and heard about the Metro services here. He then decided to take a ride on the Metro. Khali along with others came in three vehicles," a senior police official said.
Two of the vehicles -- bearing registration numbers HR 62A 1144 and PB 29G 0416 -- were parked in no parking zone.
Two traffic constables who found the vehicles parked in no parking zone issued challans, the official said.
