Three killed in separate accidents

Three people, including a two-year-old girl, were killed and one was injured in three separate accidents in the past 24 hours.

In the first incident, two-year-old Deepika was hit by an autorickshaw in Khajoori Khas area of northeast Delhi. The incident took place at 9pm.

The girl who was crushed by the auto was rushed to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared her brought dead.

A case of causing death due to rash and negligent driving has been registered and the accused driver is absconding.

In the second incident, an 18-year-old boy was crushed by a speeding truck when he was heading home on a cycle along with his cousin. The victim, identified as Vishnu was rushed to Lal Bahadur Shastri Hospital along with his cousin. His cousin is now out of danger.

Police have arrested the truck driver Omprakash, 50.

In third incident Subhash Sharma,48, was hit by an unidentified vehicle in Shakarpur area of east Delhi.
