Telangana Rashtra Samithi chief K Chandrashekhar Rao is likely to meet Prime Minister Manmohan Singh over the Telangana issue today, a day after he sat on a token fast at Rajghat.
Rao, who has been camping in Delhi since Friday with the hope to meet the Prime Minister, UPA ministers and senior BJP leaders, rejected the government's decision to hold further consultations on the issue.
"What is the need for further consultations? How long will they take to take a decision? We need Telangana, not comforting words," he said.
The fight for Telangana reached the Capital, with TRS chief Rao staging a sit-in protest at Rajghat in support of a separate state.
