Two people, including a 14-year-old boy, were killed and one injured in separate road accidents till Wednesday morning, police said.

The first accident took place in north Delhi’s Burari when a speeding truck hit two boys — Sandeep, 14 and Ankur, 11 — who were on a bicycle on Tuesday evening.

“The boys were riding a bicycle when a speeding truck rammed it near Jaitpur Pushta from the rear. We received a call and rushed to the spot to find the boys in a pool of blood,” said an officer.

Police then rushed the injured kids to a nearby hospital where doctors declared Sandeep, a resident of Sant Nagar, dead.

The errant driver identified as Mohammad Mobeen, a resident of Jharoda in north Delhi, was arrested.

In the second accident, a 55-year-old man lost control of his bike and fell on a road divider at outer Delhi’s Bawana on Tuesday night.

The victim was identified as Sher Singh, a resident of Gurgaon in Haryana. He was rushed to the Sanjay Gandhi Memorial Hospital where doctors declared him brought dead.
