A 22-year-old US national of Afghan origin was allegedly stabbed to death in a guesthouse in south Delhi’s Jangpura area by her fiancé after she refused to marry him.
A 22-year-old US national of Afghan origin was allegedly stabbed to death in a guesthouse in south Delhi’s Jangpura area by her fiancé after she refused to marry him.
The police arrested the accused, Omid Milad Hussai Khill (26), a student in Russia, from the airport when he was trying to leave the country.

The girl, Paimana Khanjar, got engaged to Khill, also an Afghan national, three years ago. The two had come to Delhi to meet their family members and discuss the wedding plans.
On Saturday, Khanjar told him she was not keen on marrying him. Unable to take a no from her, Khill stabbed Khanjar with a kitchen knife. He was about to board a flight to Kabul when he was arrested.
