The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Congress — otherwise rivals in the political arena — stood in the same league on social networking websites after the results of the Delhi polls were announced on Tuesday.
The Aam Aadmi Party bagged a landslide victory, setting up a second stint for Arvind Kejriwal as the Delhi chief minister. The BJP won three seats out of 70, while Congress drew a blank.
With just three of its candidates winning in the Delhi assembly race, the BJP was “now a ‘Nano’ party with enough room for a chauffeur,” one user quipped.
Only 3 leads now for BJP...I stand corrected...BJP now a 'Nano' party with enough room for a chauffeur— Bharti Jain (@toi_BhartiJ) February 10, 2015

BJP MLAs in Delhi will fit into an autorickshaw... that will now go by the meter since AAP is expected to end the hafta business #AAPSweep— Colleen Braganza (@colleenbraganza) February 10, 2015
Twitter’s ‘God’, who tweets as @TheTweetOfGod, wished for his son Jesus Christ's second coming, much like the one Kejriwal managed in Delhi. "#MufflerManReturns. Now if only I can get My son to do the same. #AAPSweep", the tweet read.
The total number of tweets referring to AAP's win in the Delhi elections were 3,47,760. There were 940 tweets about the party's victory around 10:30am.
Some couldn't believe that Kejriwal won with such a thumping majority:
