Mayor Prithvi Raj Sawhney inaugurated two eco-friendly toilets boasting of innovative technologies at Nigambodh Ghat and near Kudesia Park ISBT Kashmere Gate on Friday on a pilot basis. HT reports.

The civic body claimed that these toilets would not only save water, energy and space but are aesthetically more appealing as well.

The MCD plans to set up more such units near Commonwealth Games venue after examining all aspects including feasibility and other factors.
The Mayor said the electronic toilets would be turned into pay-and-use toilets.
