A 16-year-old girl was allegedly abducted and raped by her two neighbours in Okhla area of southeast Delhi on Monday afternoon.
The victim in her statement told the police that she was going to attend her stitching and weaving training classes at a private institute in Okhla Phase-I when the duo abducted her in their car and sexually assaulted her on knife-point at a secluded place near Jawaharlal Nehru University.
On the basis of her complaint, the police registered a case and have arrested one of the accused.
In another incident of rape, a 12-year-old girl residing in the Rajouri Garden area was allegedly raped by a 17-year-old minor on Wednesday morning.
The accused allegedly kidnapped the girl and forced her inside a wayside bush before raping her while she was on her way back home from the local market.
The minor, a resident of Tihar village, was apprehended after the girl narrated the incident to her parents. The cops said a case of rape was registered at Rajouri Garden after a medical test of the victim at a government hospital confirmed rape.
