Two Nigerians held with 70gm cocaine

The Fatehpur Beri police of south district arrested two Nigerians allegedly with 70 grams of cocaine worth Rs 1 crore. Chidi Meachele Iloagbala (32) and Chukwoeeka Kenneth (29), both from Oriffte in Nigeria, were apprehended from near the Sultanpur Metro station recently when they came there to supply it to a client.

Chhaya Sharma, deputy commissioner of police (south), said a team led by SHO Anil Sharma apprehended the duo.

"Both of them came to India about six months back on business Visa and were staying in Uttam Nagar. Initially, they started export of readymade garments from Delhi to Lagos but they had to bear huge losses in business," said Sharma.

According to a senior investigating officer, the duo planned to supply cocaine in night clubs and high-end parties.
